Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor, best famous for his role on the well-known television series Law & Order Special Victims Unit'. In college, he began to take an interest in acting. While at the University of Colorado at Boulder where he was studying acting. Although he's been in films and in television shows but it's the characters portrayed on small screens which have earned him acclaim. He has the ability to portray each of the characters on behalf of the police and the other. This is the reason that makes him so popular. In his first TV series, he played the part of a killer. Later, he was able to portray the role as an NYPD Detective. He's been nominated numerous times for prestigious Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his small screen performance. One of his most distinctive face features is thought to have been the piercing blue eye that has been instrumental in his portrayal of characters that appear rough and fascinating. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
